Announcement: All authors are invited to submit their communications for a full text publication in the special POLYMERS 2012 issue of the Journal of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy. The Guide to Authors can be found here. The participants’ registration package will include the Symposium Book of Abstracts.

NEW Poster Instructions

Two Poster sessions will be held on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1. The recommended poster dimensions are 100 cm high by 70 cm wide. The posters should be installed on the poster boards according to the assigned poster number. Please, refer to the programme to see which day you have been assigned.

Welcome to Polymers 2012

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to provide you with details on the 17^th Symposium "Polymers 2012" to be held in the Ribaritsa Resort, nearby the picturesque old town of Teteven, from May 31 - June 2, 2012.

The Symposium "Polymers" has a long tradition and dates back to 1967. It has been the most important national forum for presenting research results in the most relevant topics in Polymer Science. By 1989 more than 70 world-known scientists presented plenary and invited lectures. Our ambition is to restore the tradition of successful meetings with broad international participation that stimulates the exchange of ideas and close cooperation among scientific groups active in the field of polymer science and technology

It is a great opportunity to combine the participation in the symposium with the rejuvenating powers of the Balkan. The scenery of Teteven region is truly unique with a fascinating variety of beautiful flora and fauna. Century-old woods, breathtaking rocks, meadows, waterfalls, caves- all these natural riches of Teteven region offer perfect condition for fishing, skiing, alpine marches and mountainerring.
